About my experience on the course…

It was a very interesting and absolutely amazing experience. Every day was like a fresh spring morning, bringing along with it wonderful, new, unexpected … experiences and insights. The 12 days that I spent at cherai beach will be etched in my memory for a long time to come. I must of course thank Sue maim and Ashok sir for making this possible, you were an integral part of the experience and I am indebted to you.

You would remember the outcomes that I wrote down for myself. I would like to believe that I have taken the first steps towards achieving them. I have also understood that there is so much more for me to learn. It’s wonderful feelings when one discovers new things about oneself, something that one has never considered until that moment but perhaps is only aware of it at the back of the mind. It sets me upon a new journey of discovery and learning …

Sue maim, I think you are an amazing individual. When I first met Ashok sir I was in awe of him, I absolutely admired the kind of person he was and what he was doing. When I heard of you through him I knew I had to meet you at some point in my life. I never realized I would get the opportunity so soon and now that I have met you I am in awe of you.

I have met or know of very few people in my short life who have such character and learning as you have. Why I say this is because of this—in my view there have been many people who have become famous, many who have created history, many who have created legacies but very few who have created epistemologies and a way of life, the few that come to mind are Buddha, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Abraham Lincoln, Ayn Rand … I would like say that you have, that you are creating one, through who you are, through what you are doing and by how you are doing what you are doing. Wikipedia says that NLP is an epistemology,a way of thinking, if it is then you are one of the pillars that shaped it. I know that I have limited experience and perhaps a very microscopic of the view of the world, I am perhaps like a frog in a well yet I would stand by my words because you have shown me the way of life.

It’s been an honour to meet you maim and interact with you and I look forward to doing so in the future also. Thank you.

All the assistants; Ashok, Arul, Anand, Jay, John, Tanuja, and of course Colin...
