| NLP courses in the US — Visalakshi — Wednesday, September 10, 2003 |
Dear Sue, I attended your Stage One workshop last year in India. What I learned there was refreshing and in many ways has changed my life and the way I think. I am keen on furthering my knowledge of NLP and am looking for practitioner courses in the US. Could you recommend any in the Washington DC area ? Or do you plan to conduct a course here ? I would also like to know if I can use the certificate I got from your stage one workshop to qualify to take a master practitioner course in the US (or does the requirement vary from institution to institution ?) Thanks ! Visalakshi |

Dear Visalakshi, how lovely to hear from you. I think about the course in India often and especially about how much laughter there was on it. I mention that as it was against all the predictions that I had from others about how it would be to train in India. I was told to expect great formality and tradition so the openness and fun was against my expectations but most welcome. What we did in Chennai was equivalent to what I would do here in the UK as a preliminary to an NLP Business Practitioner training. My trainings last several months although I do know that there are intense courses but I find that the time is important in bedding in the learning and integrating it with all other parts of the participants lives and work. I would advise you to do a full Practitioner before doing a Master Practitoner - there is so much more to learn before going on to this advanced stage. Having said that I have had delegates go straight to a Master Practitioner Programme but what you decide to do depends on your outcomes - i.e whether you want the comprehensive learning or whether your priority is the certification. I am hoping to return to India next year and in the meantime am working in Singapore in November this year. I hope we meet again. Sincerely, Sue |
