my 16 year old brother doesnt go out have any friends. he is doing a college course 2 days a week but like everything else theres always a reason for not carrying on with it. hes a nice lad never in trouble. when it comes to family get togethers its a real ordeal for him he doesnt talk to anyone except me or my partner. he sweats. when the food is out he wont get any stating that hes not hungry, this is a lad that has a great appetite. whilst on his college course he was supposed to go away for 5 days as part of the course. he went but was back on day 3 because he phoned my mum sobbing saying of she didnt fetch him he was going to jump of a cliff.any advice would be greatly recived |

Dear N, well there is good news and bad news... The bad news is that we can’t change anyone else.. but ourselves.. We can coach them but only if they want to be coached... However the good news is that you can change yourself and in so doing you will have an effect on the other person in this case your brother. He sounds like a regular 16 year old to me... .. the question is what effect is it having on you? Sincerely, |
